Roles in mambo EMM determine what actions a user can perform within a team. Assigning roles correctly ensures that team members have access only to the features and data they need.
Roles are used to control permissions for managing:
- Devices
- Groups
- Policies
- Policy Components
- Enrollments
- Users and Teams
- Billing and Settings
Proper role management helps maintain security, accountability, and operational control across your organization.
Common Role Types
👑 Team Owner
The Team Owner has full control over the team and all its resources.
Typical permissions:
- Full access to all devices, groups, and policies
- Manage team settings and Android Enterprise binding
- Add, remove, and assign roles to team members
- Configure billing and integrations
- Delete the team
✅ Recommended: Limit to 1–2 trusted users only
